We had the most fun celebrating Lauren on Saturday!
We woke her in our traditional 'Dirks' fashion.
I had giant pictures of her as a little girl printed and hung around the house.
She was 4 here...how did that go so fast?
Weeks and weeks ago Lauren requested taking some friends
to an Iowa State volleyball game to celebrate her big day.
Easy enough.
However then she also talked me into it being a sleepover.
If you think boys are loud, I am going to tell you...you've
never had this many 13 year old girls over take your house.
I'll let you guess who the 'instigator of the wildness' is.
We experienced our first snow storm of the year just about right when we were ready to leave.
But we made it to the game.
I had never been to a collegiate volleyball game before.
Wow, these girls are good.
And, tall!
Everyone had a great time.
And someone's antics even got them on the jumbotron!
The Cyclones pulled of a victory!
Dad and his two oldest.
Grandma kept the other kids for us.
So much fun for Jordan and I too!
When we finally made it back home - horrible roads.
It was time for pizza and craziness.
They said they went to bed at 4.
This was how I found them 15 minutes before parents were going to arrive to take them home.
Adorable.
These same girls stayed with us on Lauren's 8th birthday...that night they requested that Jordan and I watch a movie with them all...they didnt do that this time. :(

Looks fun! I can not believe how mature and grown-up Lauren is! But she still knows how to have fun on her birthday :)
Happy birthday Lauren! Hope you have a good time at your party!
