Nature Walk

Science today called for a nature walk. 

Lucky for us it is gorgeous out...might be one of the last warm days we will get. 

We headed out to the nature trail. 

The big kids took their notebooks and recorded observations via sight, sound and touch.

I am amazed at the things they notice that I miss. 

Tori was really into it!

It's simply gorgeous out right now...the leaves are perfect. 

I'll confess that about 2/3 of the way through our walk I was about at my end with Sullivan.

We got home and the girls started their writing project from our walk and he went right to bed. 

And feel promptly to sleep!
