Sunday night

This is me at my work station, aka my couch on most Sunday nights.

I try to do the majority of my school prep for the week on Sunday night so that the week runs smoothly.

So I'm reading the lesson plans, previewing all the materials we'll be reading, gathering things for science experiments, searching the internet for possible videos, and planning out art activities.

It's a lot sometimes. But I absolutely love it. This prep work is probably one of my favorite parts of homeschooling. And it makes our week run so much better. 

I'm so thankful for how homeschooling is going and for how it's affecting our family. I honestly never dreamed we'd be a homeschool family, and I surely didn't imagine we'd love it so much!!
