Mr. Adventures Strikes Again

While we were out on our walk last night we met up with these two gals. 

They were asking for directions and of course Jordan ended up getting them to tell us what in the world they were doing all geared up walking the nature trail? 

Turns out they are hiking across the country!

They started out February 1st at the Atlantic Ocean in Delaware. 

They hope to make it to California and the Pacific Ocean in September. 

The most amazing part to me might be that this is not the first time they have done this!

Julie on the left is a physical therapist and Barry on the right is a retired nuclear physicist or something(!).

And of course...since its Jordan....

They ended up pitching their tent for the night in our yard. 

And I ended up serving them hot chocolate, monster cookies and cheesecake at my kitchen table. 

(apparently we were trying to fatten them up)
Oh! And they sang Happy Birthday to Jordan with us in our kitchen.
No. Lie. 

I love this picture...you cant see Sullivan on the other side of Jordan but they brought out our new map of the US and had the gals show us where they had traveled from. 

Its NEVER boring around here.
