Lauren grew up about 10 years since the last time we were on the beach.
She was so much help to us and so much fun!
She built sandcastles and creations for the little ones.
And we turned her into a mermaid!
She liked the boogie board but maybe not quite like fearless Avery.
She likes the water but is quite aware that sharks, stink rays and jelly fish could very likely be near her.
She loved the sunshine and the sand.
She loved the alone time she got with Jordan.
This is one of the more elaborate creations she, Jordan and Avery made one afternoon.
She wanted to make sure that she and Avery got up to watch the sunrise with Jordan at least once!
It did not disappoint.
Just 8 short years...8...and she will leave my nest.
