Miners Falls

Today was WATERFALL DAY!

There are tons to pick from. 

Walking the trail to the first waterfall of the day, Miners Falls.

My mountain man.

Of course the kids had to go down to the bottom. 

It was quite a feat getting all the way down there and back up. 

They made it...now for the fun...exploring!

Jordan in his happy spot for the day.

Tori was not happy about staying up top with boring mom. 

She peered over my shoulder and would point down saying, 'Bo bo!? Bo bo!?'

She was sure her Bo bo would come back and take her down. 

Eventually she fell asleep back there and got a good nap while I tried to keep my back from breaking. 

She was so proud that she could make it down and back. 

The BIG kids...how did that happen? 

Avery (almost 8), Lauren (10.5), Lani (8), Brigg (almost 11)

Also, funny, as we were leaving Cassie asked Lauren if she had ever seen a waterfall that big before. 

Lauren said no. 

I said, 'uh Lauren...YOU'VE BEEN TO NIAGRA FALLS.'

Everyone had a good laugh over that one!
