Olympic Weekend

Sullivan and really the girls too, have obsessions with maps and globes. 

Its awesome. 

And fun. 

Last night they wanted to know where each country in the Olympics was located. 

Of course Jordan was eager to do some teaching. 

He might love that globe more than they do. 

We had an extremely lazy, rainy day here. 

The kids each made this craft in between events. 

And that was about as energetic as we got! 

Jordan made the rule that every time Team USA wins gold one of the kids

has to run around the house with our flag cheering. 

Sullivan was first out of the gate after Lochte's gold tonight. 

(SO sad for Phelps...would have rather seen that.)

Summer Olympics 2012

To say that there is excitement in this house tonight would be an understatement!

We love us some Olympics around here! 

During the last Summer Olympics Tess was a newborn. 

Things are different now...what a difference 4 years can make. 

GO TEAM USA!!!!

Kiddie Parade 2012

This Felix Grundy Days - Kiddie Parade will go down as the HOTTEST one in the books. 

Seriously, I do not remember it ever being this hot at 6 pm ever. 

Ever. 

But Grandma Cindy did an awesome job on the float and costumes as usual. 

GNB sponsors the parade and this year they were introducing their new kids club mascot - GNBee.

This year it was only our 5 kids and Adrian as participants. 

Grandma, Tori, Gnbee, Papa, Adrian and Tess.

They kids were all dressed as bees and held signs telling what they dream of saving their money up for!

Oh Contessa, Im in such denial about you turning 4 that I almost put a 3 on your cake! 

If Daddy hadn't been there it would have been a big mix-up! 

Sweetheart you are our firecracker and our sparkle. 

You can light up any room with your striking blue eyes and long beautiful hair. 

But at the same time you are stubborn, sassy, independent, and ornery! 

Probably our only child to ever look me in the eye and scream NO! 

You are a lover of fun and adventure. 

You enjoy running after your siblings and trying to be big. 

You were so excited to turn 4. 

And so ready for the things you are sure will come with this big number!

Contessa, I swear when they laid you in my arms I knew you'd give us a run for our money. 

You were strong and squirmy from the very beginning...our worst sleeper and our best cuddlier. 

You scream when you are mad and it drives me completely crazy. 

But you say the sweetest I love you's and constantly tell me you think I'm 'bootiful'. 

You are Daddy's girl...BIG TIME.

And Mommy's headache. :)

And I wouldn't change that for anything.

Contessa Caroline we love you and everything you do to keep our house on its toes and LOUD. 

We are forever in your corner and always cheering you on.
