More Party Pics

The party wasn't all food!

There were arts and crafts - making political signs.

Even the 'babies' go in on the crafting.

And of course there was a 'hunt' for political themed candy!

Happy with their loot from the hunt!

The highlight of the day was a visit from some very important people!
(Um, is that Obama and Romney or Apollo Creed and Nixon?)

Obama came out swinging.

Romney won over the crown real quick.

It seemed Obama was only interested in a fight.

Mitt kept it together and talked of his love for our country.

'I don't get it.'

The kids all had chances to ask the candidates questions.

And have their pictures taken.

Sully, of course, was very excited.

Not pleased she's with Obama.

Adrian LOVED Obama!!!

Next the kids got to vote!!

Romney won! And the kids cheered!
It was 8-1.
Adrian of course voted for Obama!

What a totally fun and memorable day.
The kids and adults will never forget it.
Thank you so much Cindy!

Birthday fun!

We had a lot of fun planned for today in celebration of Torrance!
But she kept sleeping and sleeping.
Finally at 10 I told the kids we could go up and wake her.
She did not appreciate it...and basically was freaked out by them singing and screaming at her!

After lunch we painted pumpkins. She was so proud that she got to be part of big kid project!

And very serious about her work.

She had a visit from Charlee - how did I not take a picture of that?

And spaghetti for supper...her favorite.
She also likes being the center of attention.

See!

Of course cupcakes!

Thanks for the help Tess!

Happy!

Oh my!

Present time!

I wrapped up our potty chair and gave it to her!
She was sure that the puppy she got was supposed to go IN the potty.

Feeding another puppy.

Thank you, Daddy!

Next we carved pumpkins!
She was so confused by this...kept saying, 'Ew'

What's in there?

It was a great day...so thankful for birthdays!

Happy 2nd Birthday Torrance Reagan!!!!

Torrance Reagan you are TWO!
TWO!
Oh my what a two year old you are!

I thought my last baby would surely be calm and cuddly...as usual, I was wrong.
You have become our craziest, most stubborn toddler.
Not defiant like Contessa or accident prone like Avery...
but CRAZY!
You are into EVERYTHING.
You climb, you jump, you scream, you dump, you pour, you open things you aren't supposed to, get in places you shouldn't, tear things that are not to be torn, spill things, break things, stomp things...
oh girl...you are two.

Our first - terrible two!!!

Torrance, you came into our family and made us complete.

You can get away with anything you want because you are, 'the baby'.
You will always have that spot and I am sure you will always get away with everything your brother and sisters do not. And I'm sure they will tease you for it...just come find me...I'll handle them for you!

I miss your baby days...your cuddly, quiet, sweet days.
But I do love your fire and your crazy little grin.
I love watching you play with your siblings and do big girl things.
I love how you know you are doing wrong but you just smile and run away from me.

You make us all so happy and just as the last born should...you keep us laughing from morning till night.

We love to hear you talk and see you perform for us.
You say the word, 'mommy' at least 163 times everyday.
It grates on my nerves...and someday I will probably cry when it stops.

Torrance with every bit of trouble you cause I am reminded that you are the last one to make me run in circles...the last one to need me like only a toddler can...the last one to suck her thumb and look up at me when you need a quick reassuring hug.
You are also my first and only - Mommy's girl - not gonna lie...I love it.

I love you for your mischief and your smile.
I love that you DO let me rock you before bed.
I love that you love puppies and music.
I love to watch you dance.
I love that you call Charlee...Charchee.
PART of me even loves that we have to dress you in layers of buttons, snaps, onsies, zippers and pjs and pants every night to keep you from waking up naked and wet EVERY night!

Thank you Torrance for keeping me on my toes and refusing to let me slow down.
You are either keeping me young or making me really old, fast.
I cant decide which one it is!
But I know I am thankful for all that you are.

We are so blessed to call you our baby.
And so proud to watch you grow.

You have every single bit of our hearts Tori.
Happy Birthday, baby.
Happy Happy Birthday.
