Lauren

There are few things I enjoy more than watching Lauren play volleyball.
Except for watching her cheer for her team during volleyball.
She's amazing.
She is never loud, never jumping out of her seat.
Except for when she's cheering for her team.

I love her.
Even in a terrible, zoomed in, phone quality pic.
Just had to remember this game...

Falstaff

I haven't posted about Falstaff in awhile.

So here he is loving being dressed up as a cheer leader.

Truly, he loves us.

Cuteness Overload

I set a goal for myself:
Blogging every other day now through April 9th when we leave for vacation.
Obviously that is a lofty goal given my performance the past few months.

A post about adorable little girls seems an appropriate place to start.
Torrance was invited to a friend's birthday party this week.
She told everyone who would listen about it in the days leading up to the party.
Her favorite part ended up being - CHEETOS.
She's still talking about eating cheetos a few days later.
I got to attend with her and enjoy watching her.

All dressed and a party to go to!

Sometimes her cuteness is too much.
I'm going to miss having a 4 year old in my house very very much.

Like, so much I can't even discuss it.

And this six year old.
She's so sweet lately.
She battled some sickness over the past couple weeks.
I didn't mind the extra snuggling.
And her eyelashes…wow.

She's becoming quite the artist!

She drew this of the monkey my mom made for her.
Its my favorite.

One night awhile back Lauren asked if she could plan a special night for her siblings.
She created a night in at the movies for them.
The movie poster.
(Easy to see where Contessa gets her talent)

And also set up a concessions stand for them.
She's pretty great.

Patience

Patience
Even typing that word makes me uneasy.
Cause it is so foreign to me.

I am the epitome of impatient.
Ask any of my kids, close friends, my husband or even random acquaintances…they would all agree.

I've been working on correcting that my entire life.
Lately, especially it seems.

I read this today and it is my hearts desire.
To have patience in God's timing and love for me.

Yet I am confident I will see the Lord's goodness while I am here in the land of the living.
Wait patiently for the Lord, Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
Psalm 27:13-14

He is working.
I don't have to.

Amen!

Sassy

She loves her new scarf. And it seems to bring out the sass!

reading and singing

She perked up enough to read me a book this morning.
Goodness I love her.

catch-up, again

I'm afraid to say it out loud but I think SPRING is here!!!
Its gorgeous outside and the snow is melting.
This weekend the kids were outside more than inside.
Good things!

But backing up a week..one reason we are tired of winter.
Sick Sullivan.
When he's out he's out...

Last week we celebrated Dr. Seuss's birthday.
I got to attend a Read-In at school with Contessa.

And she dressed up 'wacky' for Wacky Wednesday!

This weekend I went on a girls trip.
It was so fun and filled with laughter.
And I learned to arm knit.
Scarves for Tess and Tori.

When I came home on Saturday night I discovered that Jordan had kept a big secret.
Torrance had been really sick while I was gone.
Poor baby.
Warmed my heart to see Contessa taking care of her little sis.

And warmed my heart to see how excited Lauren was to watch Avery play volleyball on Sunday.
Because of her own busy AAU schedule she had yet to see her play.
My kids always have their biggest fans by their side in life.
(even if they dont always realize that right now!)

So to wrap up..Spring is here and sickness will soon be gone.
And maybe this spring weather will get me back on here more regularly???
