I discovered this quote thanks to my niece Livvy.
It rings so true for me.
Often times I find myself with a feeling of homesickness in my day.
Homesickness is the best word to describe it.
And at times, even in an ordinary day, it can engulf me.
There are people missing from my life that keep me from feeling 'at home'.
I frequently need reminded of how lucky this makes me.
Truly, how blessed am I?
That I have had so many wonderful places and people in my life.
This quote was an amazing reminder for me.
From childhood homes, grandparents homes, vacation destinations, parks filled with childhood memories, picnic tables full of family, dining room tables surrounded by the people I love...
My grandparents, my parents, my brothers.
Some I wont see again this side of heaven, some I never see enough.
If I felt at home I guess that would be a sign that I haven't lived enough.
Haven't loved enough.
My life has been full of love in places and people.
And I know that there is but one place where I will cease to feel homesick.
And that is heaven.
