On our first full day we set out for the summit of Pikes Peak first.
Jackets were definitely required.
There was plenty of snow at the top.
Fun old cars even made the trek up.

Next we headed to the Garden of the Gods.
We did a short hike to the Siamese Twins formation.

Awwww! You got to visit some of our favorite places on earth. We were just at Garden of the Gods earlier this week :)
And the Siamese Twins trail is our favorite one :) We didn't attempt that this year with a one-year-old in the heat. We are chickens. Someday we should vacation together.
