It is that one of my children will follow in my foot steps and become a record holding hurdler.
Um, I believe my dream may become reality with Contessa...She sits like this constantly.
She is a natural.

That is hilarious!!!! i heard a rumor that they raised the HS height of hurdles by three inches! i would've been in big trouble!
I heard that just today! but that it is just for the 100 and for shuttle. Not for 400 lows.
that would be just plain insane.
Dare I ask what "record" you hold?:) I think I still hold a record in basketball at GC for most 3-pointers attempted. Please note that is "attempts"
Uh, 400 m hurdles! And might I add, I broke it on a gravel track...and I they dont run on those anymore.

(Although I was also told TODAY that my record is in real danger of being broken this year.)

ooooo...4x1......I think I'm on that one too. Again, on a gravel track. I try to tell my students that....they laugh at me. There aren't many of those around anymore, and running on them would be CRAZY! It's fun to look back at the "glory days" once in a while!

I thought it was twice...then I thought I was crazy because I kept thinking...what are the chances of that? 53.48? does that sound right?
I get really nervous when the high school has runners close to our records! I think the D-med was broken already :(
