Jordan and the three older kids spent what seemed like hours outside enjoying the snow today. They went sledding and built this fort. The heavy very wet snow was perfect for building. We are well protected now.
And school is delayed 2 hours...in April? weird.

I know you're going to find this hard to believe, Becky, but I'm really sorry to have missed out on that snow fort. I'm sitting here wiping the sweat off and thinking how great snow would feel right now. It's not yet 11:00 in the morning so we haven't reached the heat of the day yet... but it's already 88 degrees INSIDE our veranda. Don't worry; spring will come to Iowa, and summer will follow. Let the kids enjoy the cold and the magic of snow while it lasts... and tell them to enjoy it a little bit extra for me :)
