I can't help but think that bringing back some of these forms of punishment might solve some problems in our world!!

I kept thinking that it was too bad Sullivan couldn't be with us because he would have loved seeing some of these weapons and execution tools!

This is one type of 'shame mask'. It would have been worn as punishment for a gossip...the big ears and tongue signify that this person heard everything and told everything!
