Lauren and Avery started a new reading unit this week.
We've moved onto the genre of ADVENTURE!!!
I've mentioned that I love the reading curriculum that I'm using for these two.
It is so creative and full of amazing books both new and the classics.
Basically it makes this 'almost English teacher' just bubble with excitement!
So our kick off included a treasure map.
I'm quite the artist.
They set off on the hunt.
It was harder than I thought but I refused to help them.
At last they found the treasure chest.
It was filled with their books to read for this unit and candy, of course.
Lauren is reading Treasure Island and Avery Stuart Little.
