weekend wrap

Boy these weekends sure do fly by...
We enjoyed a quiet family movie night Friday night and then a full day of soccer on Saturday...
then we raced to Des Moines to the zoo for their annual Nite Eyes festivities and as a mini birthday celebration for Torrance.

It was so fun...all the employees and volunteers and guests were dressed in costume.
The park was set up differently, leading you to trick or treat stations and some games.
So festive!
There were lots of fun lights ect.
Its good to remember that when these kids grow up a bit we will no longer do these kinds of activities...have to take advantage while we can!

It got pretty dark soon after we arrived so picture taking wasn't going to happen.
But we did get all the grandkids (on Jordan's side) together so there had to be a picture of that.
(Jackson, Tess, Adele, Avery, Adrian, Alexa, Lauren, Torrance, Aaron, Sullivan)
Look at all those cousins.
They are so blessed.
Not everyone gets cousins so close in age or proximity.
Cousins are our first best friends...and life long allies.
I treasure my cousins and memories of all the fun we had...and I turn to them now when I need advice or a laugh. And pray that these kids will always do the same.
And it helps that they have a total blast together!
