A couple of weeks ago at church we were taking off our coats and ushering the kids into their SS rooms. Avery took off her shoes and set them by the coat rack. I said Avery, you cant just leave your shoes there.
She proceeded to pick them up and walk back across the large foyer and place them very neatly by the door. I wish I had had my camera because it was so sweet. After months of being told to do that with her shoes at home she couldn't quite understand why now she has to leave her shoes on! In her mind she was doing what she was told.
