Dreams

Avery has been cursed with her mother's tendency to have strange, crazy, vivid and lasting, reoccurring dreams. 

This is the latest. She's told me about this one a number of times lately.

"She is lost. In a big garden. And there is a huge wall. Then there is a fire. And she can't find anyone and she is very scared. Then it rains."

Many times the dreams are not scary, but are silly instead. We all enjoy hearing about those dreams. But the scary ones are very real to her and bother her for days. 

I remember being exactly like this as a child. Some nights I would try not to fall asleep so I wouldn't dream. 

Poor poor thing...
