surgery took over 3 hours...little miscommunication there...
it was obvious right away that this surgery was a lot different than the last.
lots more pain and the HUGE bandage covering her head was very upsetting to her.
(and me)
she's doing much better now and we should be headed home soon.
i listed off all the people who had called, texted, emailed or commented about her today so she could see how loved she was...her comment was - wow!!

The relief to be on the other side of such a major surgery is so profound, I cried from the relief when Kate's was over ~ what a brave little beauty. Praying now for a full and uneventful recovery - hang in there mom <3 ~super impressed with your courage Lauren =D !!!
