Chicago Day 2

The weather was supposed to be terrible on Tuesday.

But it ended up mostly just being chilly.

We did the bus tour for Tuesday and Wednesday and it took us to all our stops.

I think the kids got a big kick out of hopping on and off!

We saw the Adler Planetarium. And just a tip...save yourself the trip - its not that great.

But the kids enjoyed the hands on area.

After the planetarium and a lot of walking we made the kids nap and had a late supper.

Sully was so tired he didnt even need his air mattress.

We had some fun hotel time that afternoon/evening.

Jordan and I both love the second we hop off the elevator and the kids all start racing to the room. Its always a contest and Tess is always bringing up the rear.

We are loud and I'm sure the other guests hate us.

But I know in a few years they wont be running and laughing and falling down in the halls.

And was so fun.

We also had some wrestling in our room.

And one thing I dont want the kids to forget.

We have this blue nite lite that is on a timer. After 15 minutes it turns off.

It is used in Sully and Tess's room.

We always take it with us on vacations.

Every night when the lights were turned off the kids would start begging for Jordan's 'Blue Man Group' show. He'd grab the nite lite and turn it on and juggle it and toss it all over and stick it in his shirt and run around the room. They laughed hysterically and while it did nothing to calm them or prepare them for bed...it was one of my favorite memories of the whole trip. Just time to be silly and make the kids laugh.
